What a great mailbag! Love that you ended on the question about your BTS experience in Paris. While I do not know their music well or consider myself part of their fan base, it sounds like an inclusive, beautiful thing. 💖
It is similar to how I describe Harry Styles shows. I am going to two in Mexico City next weekend by myself. His fan base is a bit more toxic as a whole, but I have gone by myself to HSLOT shows, and have found them to be super happy, open and welcoming (not as inclusive as I’d hope them to be). As a crazy live music fan, I always makes me happy to hear when women decide to go by themselves! 🤘

That was me in Las Vegas. I've been to hundreds of concerts, but this was my first one alone. On the flight over and back, was sitting next to young Army that so graciously shared their freebies and the mother and daughter I sat next to were very welcoming. I did miss experiencing it with a friend but didn't let that keep me from going.
The best part of the mailbag to me is seeing all the intelligent questions that come in. Ideas I never thought of (but duh! why not) come up, and the replies are great too. Cheers to The Squawk
Lainey! I'm so glad you finally got to see OT7 in the ELEMENT! The first time I ever saw them live, it was hard to describe, so I totally understand your feelings right now. I say BASK IN IT!
I'm going to see them a few more times (and I'm bringing freebies!) and every time, even though I've seen the show now multiple times, I'm so excited because each experience is the same but different in its own way. Doesn't matter where you sit, BTS is going to make it special for you!
Lainey - I just knew it would be Paris for your first BTS concert. I've now been to 2 Arirang concerts -and am taking my granddaughters to Boston, daughter bought me tix for Chicago for my significant birthday and I'm taking one of my sons to LA. I recognized your ..euphoria. I think Toronto will be a bit different due to the lack of a suitable venue = Arirang is at Rogers Stadium - but hope everyone who attends are able to feel what BTS gives so freely and so joyfully.....no matter what or where the location.
This was such a good one! On Timmy, I think Lainey's answer is very insightful, and I see him pivoting to a Joaquin Phoenix kind of persona (obviously not taken to the extreme of I'm Still Here): where people don't really like you but grudgingly agree you're very talented, and filmmakers want you in their movies. Being the Internet's boyfriend is nice for awhile, but if you want to be a grown-up actor who can take a wide range of roles it's probably something you want to shake. He also had the problem of being a 30-year-old who people see as like, 22. Considering all this, Timmy's villain turn looks like strategy.
