Dear Squawkers,

Is this a safe space? I decided not to post this at LaineyGossip and keep this conversation to The Squawk community because we’re dealing with Princess Kate and no one can ever be normal about her – which is something she actually has in common with Meghan Sussex, but even saying that is enough to set off all kinds of bombs.

We are not here to talk about the drama between the Wales and the Sussexes. We are just here to talk about Kate Middleton and the preoccupation lately with her hair. I first saw the headlines last week when she was photographed going to church, or something, and her hair looked lighter. She was sitting in a car, though, and I thought maybe it was the way the light was coming through the window.

The new hair shade set off the British tabloids who don’t need much of an excuse to obsess over her and today Kate stepped out for an official engagement with Prince William for a visit to The Natural History Museum, providing the public with all kinds of angles of her new hair colour and now the story is one of today’s biggest entertainment headlines.

It does, indeed, look lighter. And … um… fuller. You can see the thickness better in this shot below. This is probably the most volume we’ve seen when her hair is blown out.
