I have no comic book background either. Most of the Captain America, Xmen stuff has never caught my eye. I am a HUGE fan of the Guardians, I love those movies, they remind me a bit of my love for Buffy the Vampire Slayer ... lots of comedic humor in the face of darkness ... friends forever.
